The weather was unsurprisingly rather challenging but in Neil and Ricci, however, we had two instructors who knew the area intimately and were able to guide us to locations where the light was most beneficial. They made a point of ensuring that they were on hand to give valuable guidance to everyone not just on settings but also composition. No matter how satisfied you were with your images, Neil and Ricci were able to make improvements even if only fine tuning.

Right from the start, there was a feeling of confidence, from the introductions to the training itself. All questions were answered and solved in a quiet and positive manner. From the 1-4 ratio of trainer to pupils, the organisation of each day and having a positive back up plan if necessary was carried out in a very professional manner, giving all who attended an excellent experience.

I took the MASTERING THE Z 6II & Z 7II PART 1 Course last year and found that to be very informative and useful so I signed up for Part 2. As expected the course content was very broad and went into lots of detail about the facilities available to the user of the Z Series cameras. As before Ricci was very knowledgeable on this equipment and answered all the questions to the students satisfaction. Recommended for anyone using a Z Series camera.

Neil was an excellent instructor. Patient, clear in his explanations, clearly hugely skilled and knowledgeable and positively challenging. Of particular benefit, was Neil's ability to talk to the individual in language they will understand. There was a fairly wide skill gap on the course and Neil made sure he spent time with everybody and helped them individually get the best from the time.

Magnificent two days around Buttermere and Derwentwater in the lakes. Expertly guided by Neil whose approach is designed to bring out the best in your shooting. This was an exceptional mentoring session, focussing on the D850, my planned usage and a review of some shots. Neil was warm, friendly, engaging and certainly knew what he was talking about. We worked through my questions and topic areas at a pace that was ideal. Neil was open to questions and shared much more than I expected.
I intend this to be the start of an ongoing mentoring relationship as I am sure my photography will improve significantly.
