This was my second course with the Nikon School and proved to be as excellent as the first.
Neil and Ricci provide expert clear advice and information on how to produce the best landscapes. This course covered equipment (cameras, lenses, filters, tripods, wellies!, etc.) as well as camera settings (ISO, focussing, shutter speed and aperture). The final portion of the course cover post processing in two software packages.
Neil and Ricci encouraged questions throughout and answered them all.

I've been taking photographs for longer than I care to remember, so some parts of the course covered aspects of photography that I already knew about - relationship of aperture, shutter speed, ISO. Yet, even within that, some of the tips, which were particularly relevant to the Z50, were very useful. Throughout the course I learnt things which will enable me to use my camera more effectively and take better photographs. Trainer was very engaging and helpful - would recommend the course.

We had Ricci explain the many new features that the Nikon z50 has to offer. Even with knowledge of use with my nikon dslr I found it extremely useful. Ricci took his time with questions too which gave us all a lot of in depth understanding of features we use or were wanting to. Ricci even took time to understand our photography styles and explained with that in mind. Definitely be back for other courses.

I had got my Z50 and been using it, but with little awareness of what it could do. I saw this course and signed up.
A little worried about 3 hours in front of the screen, but in the event, I needn’t have worried at all. Ricci had filled the time with valuable and sensitive tips and guidance, delivered in a logical sequence and at a speed and in language which was easy to follow. In fact, I could have used another 30 minutes! First class!

Good solid workshop well presented by Neil and Ricci with suggestions, recommendations and practical advice. Good grounding or refresher as to how to plan for a landscape photography trip, what would be useful to take with you and then some tips on post processing. ‘Low and close’ is the new phrase to remember.

Having used Nikon for over 25 years, the new Z7II presented me with a welcome learning curve away from my DSLR background. The course really helped as an introduction to the new concepts which needed to be understood to get the best from the Z7II, both in the studio and out and about. Both Ricci and Neil are very knowledgeable and this came across well. I've booked onto the part 2 session already. Thanks Nikon.
