having a new Z50 needed to learn to get the best from it. I had compiled a list of specific topics and each one was addressed at the right level for me. very pleased - even if I now struggle to remember some of the advice without reference to the manual!

A very interesting and informative course. Lots of great shots around the Yorkshire Dales - a few locations I recognised, many not. Useful information from Neil and Ricci On approaches to shooting at these locations. Next best thing to being there. Thanks again guys.

Great online course at a good pace and geared towards participants' needs. It started off with useful technical knowledge and tips and then went into interesting areas for photography in Northumberland, illustrated with photographs taken from the areas and an explanation as to how each shot was achieved (filters, ISO, f-stop, aperture etc.) If I had to leave a criticism, it would be too much focus on Bamborough Castle. Loved seeing work from two different photographers too. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Apart from some inspirational photographs the course was very good for showing me that I have got into some poor habits and will break me out of them. It demonstrated the hardware and light control that with experience I've got lazy at doing to the point of forgetting to use filters - or just doing it post process. An entertaining and educational two hours. Thanks for resetting me on some areas!

Another well structured and useful session from Neil and Ricci. Very helpful kit and technique advice backed up by fine images. I particularly like the way that those taking part are encouraged to develop their own approaches and styles utilising suggestions made throughout.

This was a great course and it was really helpful that lots of information about camera settings and filters etc were shared throughout as welll as locations etc.
I visit Northumberland many times a year (for another hobby) but need to get myself out and about more in the area with my camera again.
I don’t have the latest Nikon camera but the course helped me to understand more about using a variety of settings to achieve great results.... more confident now to get off auto!!!!

The tour introduced some new ideas for me. The tour gave me good advice regarding better basic settings and approaches to improve my landscape pictures. The more technical input was delivered in a way that was easy to grasp.

This course was an eye-opener: Neil stated that he has no wish to reproduce realism - initially a shocking statement but the photos explained were stunning photographs, which by use of filters gave images better than the eye could see, such as the reflections on water that was actually choppy. The only disappointment was that the most impressive shots were all taken at unsocial hours. Neil's and Ricci's photos were stunning and it is reassuring that they are taken with the same gear we can buy.
