Neil and Ricci clearly explained the techniques to correctly light our subjects and also provided pointers on the equipment we might need. There were numerous examples of shots taken, with an explanation of the settings used on each occasion. I was particularly pleased to learn about the 'shoot for midnight' technique (I hope that's the correct term!) and it was useful to know that the techniques described apply equally to still life or pet photography.

The presentation on landscape photography was interesting and helpful and illustrated by some beautiful images taken by the presenters, Neil and Ricci. They provided useful tips on filters and other equipment to improve the composition and look of our images.

I was keen to attend the online course on Portraits as this is an area I know little about. The advice from Neil and Ricci was clear and helpful, in particular about lighting, and the images used to illustrate the course were most impressive.

This was the fourth online session that I had attended provided by Neil and Ricci and once again thoroughly informative. I had heard in previous sessions about long exposure for landscape and never quite understood why. Now its all so clear and understandable.
Occasions when I have dismissed the weather or people or cloud cover for a photograph I will now approach in a totally different manner and mindset. Great example images and I am now thinking of doing one of your trips as a result!
