This was my first course with Nikon and it was better than I had hoped. I had numerous questions I wanted to ask about my camera regarding speed lights and lenses.
The two lads running the course answered all my questions with good clear explanations and also answered other participants questions.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course. The foul weather could have so easily ruined the day. As it transpired the forced focus on the theoretical aspects of landscape photography enriched the course for me. Neil’s passion for the subject was evident for all to see and his knowledge of my D850’s features highly beneficial.

Neil took us on a day's journey from macro beginners to respectable heights in just a few hours. There was enough for the newbies to get going and plenty for the more experience to chew on. Neil's expertise is such that he passes on real gems of practical photographic knowledge in the one-to-one moments, one of which in my case made the whole day worthwhile - just in those three minutes! Well worth attending - hats off, Nikon!

When one gets guided by an expert , the difference it makes to one's knowledge is huge and that is exactly what interaction with Neil did to me on this Macro Photography course. Online contents can help but nothing to beat the way Neil conducted the course. Face to face discussion & hands-on practice simply made it easy to understand many aspects of Macro photography. The learnings are going to help me tremendously in building my portfolio.

Once again having attended the first part of the course, the second part under Ricci's guidance , I found the course both informative and fun. his relaxed style is great. the practical work was very useful as a new Nikon camera can be daunting .The course was great at covering the different aspects of picture taking and gave me much more understanding of what my camera can do. This course was so much more than I'd hoped for. It was a lovely group of people with a fantastic instructor! If you are starting out with photography and need a better understanding of lighting and how to take portraits, this really is a great course to go on!

So we had Ricci as our course trainer and not as advertised. But that really does not matter as Ricci was great at delivering the course and his knowledge was great and open to helping everyone out on the day. I would really suggest anyone attend this day as it was really informative. The training facility is great and the team makes you feel really welcome. I'm sure I'll attend another course in due time...

I loved this trip. The weather was perfect. We saw the lights almost every day. Neil and Mark Andreas Jones took us to superb locations, some of them less well known to other photographers. It was fantastic to have the expertise of someone who really understood how Iceland's weather moves and the micro-climates. This enabled us to swap locations and shoot in good light before revisiting the original plan in better weather. I have come away inspired by Iceland's rugged beauty and 6000 photos.

We were very lucky to photograph the Northern Lights on the doorstep of the hotel. As these lights are usually elusive both Neil & Mark kept a nightly watch for us and we were rewarded with spectacular displays on 2 nights. Both Neil & Mark were on hand to give their advice on best camera settings to capture this phenomenon. The Icelandic landscape is monochromatic in winter during the day, so most of our shoots were of sunrises and sunsets. Neil & Mark were great in guiding us to locations.

We started the workshop with Ricci giving us a very instructive talk covering every aspect of the camera and how we be should be shooting the different shots we would be taking. He then carefully explained the route we would be taking and the best vantage points to take the best photos. We then started our adventure and he was patient, helpful, guiding us with everything we might be needing.
The evening was great in every way …I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt a huge amount.
