Having driven 3 hours mostly in thick fog I wasn’t sure what could be achieved from the days training. I needn’t have worried one of Neil’s many skills appears to be providing perfect weather for photographing waterfalls. The new skills and techniques Neil showed me have transformed the way I approach my photography and have already given me far better photo’s than I thought I was capable of; highly recommended can’t wait to book on another course.

We had a great day on the coast at Flamborough taking seascapes using filters , Neil was on hand to answer any questions and to help us get the best out of the day, I came away with more knowledge than before and some great shots. To top the day off we also see pods of dolphins go past and seals playing on the beach.

Always on the lookout for something a bit different and this one fits the bill. We had 3 models/performers all keen to please. Managed to fit in a lot of different types of photography. Started with fairly straightfoward potraits but with a variety of lighting techniques. Then it was on to the acrobatic stuff with the opportunity to freeze the action or capture movement. The only downside is that the background (walls ceilings etc) are a bit messy and unattractive but that can be overcome.

Excellent location. Comfortable luxury hotel. Great food - who can forget the pancakes, the sea bass or the specials: fish fingers and Mac and cheese. Oh and the light was stunning creating super sunrises and sunsets. Ricci help myself and all the delegates with some great tips, advice and terrific compositions. We also covered some post edits.

Set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, we spent the day shooting all kinds of wildlife, from cheeky pheasants, a wide range of birds, including a noisy woodpecker right through to the star of the show - red squirrels which were amazing. The location is excellent, the hides were discrete and comfortable, and the backdrops were superb giving you a wide range of compositions. And to top it all, Neil Freeman was to hand with an arsenal of camera gear and a world of knowledge to help you.
