was a brilliant introduction and a recap at the sametime. the small number of participants and the interactive nature of the delivery and the practicality of the subject were my high points

Excellent instruction and well paced

First, all technical things worked. Voice, seeing menus of camera, seeing outsides of cameras. Then very very knowledgeable teacher. Structured, explain that extra mile, going back if needed. Listening to the audience, but did all talking automatically which is absolute need in a online course.

This was part 2 of the training on use of the Nikon Z 6ii and 7ii by Ricci. The content went into more depth and covered areas of particular interest to the participants who were mostly landscape photographers. This included customising settings, bracketing, focus shift shooting, time lapse and interval timer shooting. All well explained. We concluded with a short overview of the video capabilities and for the first time I now have some understanding of the differences between film formats.

Printing your images is not simply what you see on screen is what you get on print. This course tells you how to get the best images on paper. Highly recommended.

We used flashguns, light diffusers and reflectors taking portraits outside in changing light conditions.

Always a great session, where you can find answers to your questions on all things Nikon or photography!

Good session as always from Neil, I learnt a good deal.

Excellent course! If you’re wanting to get in to B&W then you must do this course. Neil took us first through ‘black and white thinking and vision’ to help understand the composition, subjects and lighting that makes a good B&W image. Then, after taking us through the practical photography aspects, we covered digital editing to process B&W images to maximum effect.
As someone who wants to get in to both digital and film B&W, I learnt a lot to apply to both.

This was a great opportunity to learn about light in outdoor portrait shooting. A nice simple shoot using a professional model and experimenting with refracted, reflected (x2) light and fill in (off camera) speedlight. As always the instruction and advice from Ricci was superb!
