The course was very well structured and easy to follow. The level of interaction and the knowledge of Ricci made the difference in each single moment. I finally learned how to get the most from my camera

Another fantastic course led by Ricci. I had bought the D850 but hadn’t used it yet so it was great to come into the course with no knowledge and leave knowing the best settings for the camera. Ricci was really clear and the presentation was fantastic. Thank you, I feel confident to go out and shoot now.

The Course was well worth the money. Ricci was easy to listen to and fully explained what was required to be honest this should be in 2 or 3 parts has there is still alot more to learn and Ricciis definitely the man to learn from.

An excellent introduction for me. Covered the basics (lenses, camera settings, rationale for each). Neatly divided into different scenarios (moon, sky, Milky Way, Aurora, and star trails). Information given at a good pace, and there was a full response to individual questions. Finally, demonstrations of post processing images to best effect. Fantastic course, thank you.

A very well presented course which I would describe as time and money well spent as I am currently thinking about investing in my first set of filters to help me get more from my landscape photography. By accident or design the small size of the group helped Ricci cover all of the topics in the course in his characteristic clarity and detail and also answer the many questions from the group.

As usual, Ricci is an engaging and knowledgeable teacher. He took us through the basics of polarising, and UV filters(don't bother, big lesson for me), and focused then on ND filters. Interesting and useful. Slanted (for good reason) towards holders and drop in filters, so perhaps good to think a little more about those of us who have bought screw-in filters, either through lack of understanding or budgetary reasons. It left me wanting to go out and try some of the things we'd talked about.

I was sceptical when I booked the course after all I’ve had the camera for some time and I’ve pressed buttons and changed settings and It’s given me some great photos, or what I thought were great photo’s it turns out that the camera is capable of so much more.
The photo’s taken since the course are so much better, I have a clear understanding of what the camera can do and what settings to change to achieve great results.
The trainer and course content were both excellent, highly recommended

A very interesting course, having done some astro photography before this course I quickly realised that I had only scratched the surface and looked forward to going deeper into the subject.

I signed up to the Astrophotography course with absolutely no knowledge on how to shoot this genre. Ricci was incredibly informative and very approachable; the course started off with all the need-to-know basics before progressing into details of how/where/when to shoot certain scenes, the editing process and any supporting software. I came away feeling confident about how to take the pictures I wanted and I’m looking forward to putting this into practice next month.
